2024 PGA Championship winner Xander Schauffele has claimed the PGA Tour is really missing one LIV Golf star in particular.
Schauffele is set to return to action at The Memorial Tournament this week, which is his first appearance since claiming his maiden major victory at Valhalla.
The American will no doubt be looking to build on his performance in Louisville as a stacked field descends on Muirfield Village.
However, despite the likes of Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy competing, there is still an LIV Golf-sized hole present on the PGA Tour.
And in an interview with The Times, Schauffele claimed the US tour is really missing the presence of one of LIV’s most prominent players.
Xander Schauffele says the PGA Tour really misses Bryson DeChambeau

After being pushed all the way by Bryson DeChambeau at Valhalla, Schauffele has admitted the PGA Tour needs the presence of the big-hitting American.
He explained: “Bryson makes people turn the television on, and there are several guys on LIV that are missed in terms of the full package we can provide a golf fan, so it’s got to come back together at some point.”

DeChambeau will be looking to fine-tune his game ahead of the U.S. Open at Pinehurst No.2 next week.
The 30-year-old is set to feature in Houston this week in LIV’s first event since Brooks Koepka’s victory in Singapore.
After finishing one shot adrift of Schauffele at Valhalla, DeChambeau will be among the favourites in the year’s third major and also well-supported.
Irrespective of his move to LIV, the American does provide something different and engaging, which golf fans love.
It was box office stuff from DeChambeau at the PGA Championship and, as highlighted by Schauffele, the PGA Tour is certainly missing the 2020 U.S. Open champion.
