Tiger Woods may have withdrawn from the Genesis Invitational, but he remains a firm fixture in the TGL.
Woods made his PGA Tour debut at 16 at the 1992 edition of the former, with another appearance this season ruled out following the passing of his mother.
American legend Woods has, however, been fully committed to TGL thus far, with his Jupiter Links Golf Club posting one win and one loss.
Woods received the first TGL shot clock violation in their second encounter, in which they beat Rory McIlroy’s Boston Common Golf.
That 4-3 overtime triumph came after a humiliating 12-1 defeat to Los Angeles Golf Club in just the second week of TGL.

Tiger Woods couldn’t stop talking about Kevin Kisner’s TGL bunker shot
And during that match, Jupiter’s Kevin Kisner stole the headlines for all the wrong reasons, having accidentally launched a bunker shot into the flagstick.
Discussing that incident while sharing insight into the Jupiter Links group text, Kisner said on the ForePlay Podcast: “Tiger is not the best communicator in the world.
“But his guy Robbie Mc [Rob McNamara] is our lead and I’ll tell you one thing, our text thread after the first match was on fire. Tiger could not get over how funny that skulled bunker shot was and literally text about it all night long.
“Mc is good with technology so he was sending all these memes and gifs to the thread and Tiger could not get over it.
“It was hilarious how funny he thought it was. I have never seen Tiger laugh that hard in my life. That was entertaining as hell.
“For hours after the show he could not stop. We have a locker room, it’s like our private room, and he could not stop talking about it. It was awesome.
“I said that at least I got it out the bunker! That same night, nobody talks about him duffing a bunker shot one foot in front of him, arguably the best player of all time. I was like at least my ball got out of the bunker!”
Kevin Kisner gives Tiger Woods one of his ‘funniest moments’ ever at TGL
Woods was indeed left in hysterics at Florida’s SoFi Center upon witnessing Kisner’s horror shot at the par-three 14th.
“That was one of the funniest moments I’ve ever seen, [Kisner] hitting that shot like that,” said Woods. “It was just one of those weird nights.”
It was certainly a night to forget for the 15-time major champion, with Kisner and their other teammate Max Homa having been eager to recover as soon as they possibly could.
And that was achieved against Boston Common, although Tom Kim came in for Homa and immediately impressed on his TGL debut.
Jupiter Links return to TGL next week for their third match, but their meeting with New York Golf Club comes after a triple-header.
Atlanta Drive GC play both Los Angeles and The Bay Golf Club, also next week, with The Bay also meeting Boston Common.
