TGL enjoyed arguably its biggest success yet as co-founders Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy went head to head.
Woods received the first TGL shot clock violation, but his Jupiter Links side ultimately beat McIlroy and Boston Common Golf.
Tom Kim loved playing with Woods at TGL, with the duo impressing alongside Kevin Kisner to secure a 4-3 victory.
The thrilling contest at Florida’s SoFi Center went into overtime, with Keegan Bradley having halved the 15th hole with Kim to force a draw.
Kim and Kisner then emerged victorious over Bradley and Adam Scott in the nearest-the-pin contest to decide the victor.

Smylie Kaufman wanted Tiger Woods vs Rory McIlroy TGL playoff
But according to Smylie Kaufman, TGL missed a trick in that regard by leaving out iconic duo Woods and McIlroy in that best-of-three decider.
“My biggest complaint is why did we not have some form of Tiger vs Rory to decide who is going to win the match?” he said on The Smylie Show.

“I think personally if I could create my perfect playoff, I think the threesomes thing they started out with would be a great way to finish it off because every person gets a shot.
“If it’s a par four, it seems like it would be too long for me, but maybe do a par three so pick two out of your three players and potentially a third, depending on what happens.
“That seems like it would be a lot of fun to go play one of the island green holes they have, par three, and do it that way.”
Smylie Kaufman wants LIV Golf players and YouTube stars in TGL
TGL is well and truly underway, with Woods and McIlroy perhaps having been slightly worried about what sort of reaction it would get.
Huge winning margins in the opening three matches would have furthered their woes, but their encounter is certain to have won fans over.

All six TGL teams have now played at least one match, with the innovative tournament limited to PGA Tour players.
Kaufman has, however, proposed another change in that regard, adding: “I really would be compelled and I still feel like having LIV teams compete in this would be really cool.
“But I would be really interested to have some form of YouTube team, with Wesley [Bryan] and his brother (George Bryan), Grant [Horvat] and Garrett [Clark]. I think that would be really interesting.
“I think people would flock to watch those guys try and take down a typical PGA Tour team and if they beat them it’s validation that ‘hey these guys are good in a format like this’.”
