Bryson DeChambeau has returned to Augusta National, with another shot at The Masters on his agenda.

DeChambeau is delighted to be at Augusta National, having arrived immediately after taking on LIV Golf Miami.

He finished fifth at Trump National Doral, with the Crushers GC captain ending four shots behind winner Marc Leishman.

DeChambeau now switches his immediate focus to The Masters, a competition in which he finished T6 last year.

That represents the American’s best result at the major championship, coming in a year when he won the US Open.

He wrote: “Just got in from a mostly empty ANGC where the last player on the course was Bryson, who was holding court by skipping shots on 16 by himself with the last trickle of patrons in attendance today going completely nuts.”

How many shots did Bryson DeChambeau hit in his practice session?

DeChambeau is working a lot on starting lines, with time now running out until the main action gets underway.

The American should, however, be full of confidence thanks to his superb major championship season in 2024.

The LIV Golf star did miss the cut at The Open Championship, but that came after his hugely impressive US Open win.

He also managed to finish second at the PGA Championship after starting out with that T6 finish at Augusta.

But he clearly feels there is room for improvement, with DeChambeau hitting 240 practice shots in his Tuesday practice session at Augusta, as per The Masters website.

Only Max Homa (247) hit more, with two-time Masters champion Jose Maria Olazabal third on the list with 236.
