Byeong Hun An produced a superb display to edge past Tom Kim and win the Genesis Championship title.
An says he was ‘lucky’ at the Genesis Championship, where he beat fellow South Korean Kim in a play-off at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club.
The former had two putts for the trophy, but needed just one after Kim had missed a makable putt on the last hole in regulation.
An now has his first DP World Tour title since his BMW PGA Championship success at Wentworth all the way back in 2015.
His victory on home soil was made even more impressive given that six players held the lead in some capacity during the final round.

Byeong Hun An hits ‘shot of the season’ at Genesis Championship
It was also captured in some style, undoubtedly helped by a brave decision on the par-five 15th to hit a driver off the fairway for his second shot.
But An delivered a stunning 293-yard shot to land his ball just beyond the flag, with the South Korean blowing away the commentary team, who as per the DP World Tour on X said: “What a shot. Are you kidding me?” and “This could be the shot of the season right here. Quite incredible from Byeong An, no one saw that coming, apart from him.”

And just like those commentators, many golf fans were left stunned by An’s brilliant approach shot on his way to victory in Incheon.
One golf fan made a correct prediction on X after watching the driver off the deck effort, saying: “That shot will probably win him the tournament now. Unreal.”

Other impressed followers commented: “So pure,” “Unbelievable,” and “This is what probably won it in the end, big play.”
More fans blown away by the fantastic shot said: “That’s insane,” and “Club twirl would have been appropriate.”
And another commented: “For anyone who hasn’t played golf before! This is stuff you only really do on the PlayStation! Unbelievable golf shot.”
An is now a multiple DP World Tour champion, but his success comes after Julian Guerrier became the 15th maiden winner after his Andalucia Masters triumph last week.
