LIV UK is in the bag and Jon Rahm was the individual winner as he narrowly saw off Tyrrell Hatton around the JCB.
The event has proved to be a big success and the crowds flocked to the event down in Uttoxeter to witness some of the best and biggest names in golf.
Of course, eventual winner Rahm is one of those big names and he delivered on the final day with a stunning round of four under to card a -13 and win the individual event.
Rahm – who caused a scene on Saturday by having a dig back at the fans on the course – and his Legion XIII team also picked up the team win as well to make it a big weekend for the Spaniard.
However, there was an element of bittersweet in the win for Rahm as he won at the expense of teammate Tyrrell Hatton.
Hatton missed a short putt on 18 to hand Rahm the win in agonising fashion.
And discussing the scenario with the media afterwards, a clearly annoyed Hatton was in no mood to revel in any sort of team glory.

Tyrrell Hatton takes subtle dig at LIV team format after LIV UK agony
Speaking after his agonising loss to Rahm at LIV JCB in the UK, Hatton appeared to suggest the team element of golf counted for little when moments like this happen.
“It’s pretty raw for me as an individual. It’s hard to put to one side. Golf is generally an individual sport, and ultimately your individual results will reflect what happens as a team,” Hatton said.
“(The team win) doesn’t change how I feel. It sucks to bogey the last in front of the home crowd to force a play-off.”
Will team golf ever take off on LIV?
The team element on LIV Golf has been one of the major talking points ever since the tour was formed.
It’s certainly a divisive issue and even the players themselves have discussed the pros and cons.
Lee Westwood is one of those who believes the team element needs pushing more, with the Englishman actually suggesting LIV scrap the individual competition.
Cameron Smith, too, is also a fan and he’s enjoyed leading his Rippers GC team to success in 2024.
However, it has to be countered with moments like this from Hatton.
At the end of the day, Hatton wants to win golf tournaments and while he’s played a big role in helping Legion XIII win as well, he wanted that individual trophy.
Certainly, this is something for LIV to think about for future years.
