The RSM Classic 2024: Everything you need to know as Ludvig Aberg, Brian Harman & more make PGA Tour returns

The RSM Classic 2024 starts on Thursday! The Golfing Gazette tells you everything you need to know from prize money to tee times and much more.

There have been seven events on the PGA Tour since Scottie Scheffler won the Tour Championship in September.

Several top players competed in the ZOZO Championship last month but the fields at the other tournaments have lacked quality.

The same can’t be said this week as world number five Ludvig Aberg returns to action, as well as 2023 Open champion Brian Harman.

Here is all the important information about the RSM Classic 2024.

Everything you need to know about The RSM Classic 2024

The RSM Classic dates

The RSM Classic gets underway on Thursday, November 21, 2024, and the final round is on Sunday, November 24, 2024.

It’s the only PGA Tour event this week and there is no tournament next week.

The RSM Classic course

The RSM Classic takes place on two courses at the Sea Island Golf Club on St. Simons Island, Georgia, home to Davis Love III and 2023 Ryder Cup captain Zach Johnson.

Who is in the RSM Classic field?

There are some big names in the field for the RSM Classic, including Ludvig Aberg, Brian Harman and Si Woo Kim.

The following top 50 players are also in the mix: Denny McCarthy, Davis Thompson, J.T. Poston, Austin Eckroat, Chris Kirk, Matt McCarty and Sepp Straka.

Plus, Englishman Matt Wallace, who finished 11th at last week’s DP World Tour Championship, will tee it up at Sea Island.

The RSM Classic payout

The prize money at the RSM Classic is $7.6 million. The event will allocate 18% of the total purse to the winner ($1.368m). The runner-up will receive $828,400, while $524,400 will go to third place.
