Tommy Fleetwood and Xander Schauffele were both in action last week as they took on the Skins Game at Panther National.

Fleetwood and Schauffele were joined in Florida by Shane Lowry and Keegan Bradley, where the winner received $2.1 million.

And it was recent USA Ryder Cup captain Bradley who emerged victorious, with Fleetwood earning $1.7 million.

His European Ryder Cup teammate Lowry finished with $200,000, while Schauffele failed to earn any money.

Tommy Fleetwood and Xander Schauffele swap places in OWGR

Intriguingly, two of the players involved in the tournament have now swapped places in the Official World Golf Ranking.

After the latest update, Fleetwood has risen one spot to third place, with Schauffele dropping one spot to fourth.

Scottie Scheffler remains the world number one, with the American superstar followed by Rory McIlroy in second place.

Bradley has also kept his place in 14th, but his Ryder Cup nemesis Lowry has dropped one place in the official rankings to 27th.

Is Xander Schauffele actually further away from Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy than ever before?

“Guys like Scottie Scheffler, I have achieved a lot, but in a sick way, he’s made it not very special in my competitive mind because I’m still so far away from him. Then you tie in confidence is this little plant. My plant’s got absolutely stomped out. I’m trying to train my brain right now to think why not come back and play really well?”

David Puig enjoys significant OWGR rise after Australian PGA Championship success

The changing of positions involving Fleetwood and Schauffele is certainly a significant one, with the Englishman now technically classed as the third-best golfer in the world right now.

And his season definitely backs that up, with Fleetwood winning the Tour Championship after a stunning PGA Tour campaign.

He then clinched four points for Team Europe as they won the Ryder Cup, which was more than any other player in the tournament.

But that isn’t the only major change in the rankings, with LIV Golf ace David Puig rising 60 places in the standings.

The Spaniard has jumped from 172nd to 112th after Puig won the Australian PGA Championship in Queensland.

Will Phil Mickelson be proven correct with his prediction for David Puig?

Other moves include Collin Morikawa replacing Viktor Hovland in 12th and Sepp Straka replacing Ludvig Aberg in 15th.

And Marco Penge continues his rise with a move to 29th, while Min Woo Lee is up four places to 42nd after a strong showing at the Australian PGA Championship.
