What is the prize money at the Sony Open?
The prize money available at the Sony Open this week totals $9.1 million, a $400,000 increase on last year.

Sony Open predictions
The Golfing Gazette experts have made their predictions for the winner of the Sony Open in Hawaii this week.
James Shearman: Ben Griffin won in his last PGA Tour appearance at the World Wide Technology Championship in November, so he will be full of confidence. He should also be less rusty than many of the top players in the field this week.
Peter Lynch: Ben Griffin had a year to remember in 2025, and I’m backing the American for another strong season, starting with immediate success this week.
Jordan Harris: Keegan Bradley lost out in a playoff at Waialae in 2024 and finished sixth last year. He played extremely well in 2025 while dealing with the burden of Ryder Cup captaincy, so it would be no surprise to see him pick off a win or two this year.
