Scottie Scheffler and Justin Thomas are on different sides of the track, it seems, when it comes to their thoughts on Quail Hollow.
Scheffler and Thomas are two of the most in-form golfers on the planet right now, and will both fancy their chances of winning The PGA Championship at Quail Hollow.
The 28-year-old from Dallas sent a strong message to his rivals with his dominating performance at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson last week.
And Thomas has done the same to Scheffler ahead of The PGA Championship, with his hugely impressive form over the past month or so.
Brandel Chamblee has predicted that Scheffler will run away with The PGA Championship, and it would surprise nobody if he did exactly that.
However, Thomas will certainly have a big role to play at Quail Hollow as well.

It seems as though both players have differing views on the venue for this year’s PGA.
Thomas spoke to the media earlier on Tuesday, and suggested that Quail Hollow doesn’t require that much thought to play.
The two-time PGA champion said, “I feel like a place like this, where it doesn’t necessarily require a lot of thought or strategy off the tee, it’s generally pulling out driver and just I need to hit this as far and straight as possible.“
However, Scheffler completely contradicted those remarks from JT.
The world number one said, “I mean, I think the only shot you can really consider where you don’t have to be super focused on is the drive on 16. The fairway is pretty wide, and the hole is pretty long. You’re really trying to get it down there as far as you can into the fairway.
“But after that, the approach shot into 16 is really tough. The tee shot on 17 is really tough. Then you’ve got two really challenging shots on 18 with the water on the left side. There’s no real breathers in that stretch of holes and should make for a fun finish.“

While Scheffler was resting up at home last week, his rivals were busy battling adverse conditions at the Truist Championship.
As every golfer knows, wind and rain can wreak havoc with the mechanics of the swing.
The likes of Rory McIlroy and Thomas may have left Philadelphia Cricket Club with a few creases to iron out in their swings.
Meanwhile, Scheffler should be absolutely dialled ahead of The PGA Championship.
The anticipation is building ahead of the second major of the year, but I can guarantee you that Scheffler is the calmest man on the property at Quail Hollow right now.
