Peter Finch took a brief step back from his influencer duties as he took on regional qualifying for The Open Championship.
Finch backed Bryson DeChambeau for US Open contention earlier this month, the most recent major championship in the calendar.
It was won by J.J. Spaun as DeChambeau missed the cut, but focus now turns to The Open Championship.
Royal Portrush once again plays host to the major championship this year, with the action getting underway next month.
And Finch is among those who could be playing at the tournament in Northern Ireland, having just progressed through regional qualifying.

Peter Finch shares message after making it through The Open Championship regional qualifying
He has since shared an update on his success on social media, posting on Instagram: “So proud to have made it through Regional Qualifying for The Open Championship.
“This isn’t just a good round of golf – it’s the result of years of hard work and pushing through some mental battles.

“Qualifying has always been a stumbling block. No matter the form, this stage has played on my mind – the pressure, the expectation, the frustration of falling short.
“Today, that changed. Shot 71 (-1) on a brutally tough day at Caldy Golf Club – the wind was howling, the pins were tucked, and nothing came easy.
“But I stayed in it mentally and got the job done. And I’m currently leading the whole event! I’m absolutely delighted… but this isn’t the end. This is just the beginning.
“Final Qualifying next – 36 holes, one day, and just 18 spots available. One step away from The Open. Let’s bring it on.”
Rick Shiels and Jimmy Bullard react as Peter Finch reaches The Open final qualifying
YouTuber Finch was among 131 players who made it through to final qualifying for The Open, which takes place on July 1.
The YouTuber finished in a tie for first after a one-under 71 at a windy Caldy, one of 15 regional qualifying venues.
And his success has drawn praise from the golfing social media world, with his fellow YouTuber Rick Shiels commenting on his post: “Well done mate! Incredible round.”
Former footballer turned golfer Jimmy Bullard wrote: “Love it Finchy well played son,” while Bryan Bros [Wesley and George Bryan] noted: “Can you imagine?!”
Finch was one of nine players from Caldy to reach the final stage of qualifying for The Open, having been joined in first place by local amateur Cameron Walker.
The tournament was last held at Royal Portrush in 2019, when Shane Lowry clinched his only major championship title to date.
