PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan and PIF chief Yasir Al-Rumayyan are set to dominate the headlines at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
Monahan and Al-Rumayyan will partner Rory McIlroy in St Andrews, with the PGA Tour chief joining him on Friday and the PIF boss linking up with him on Saturday.
But the high-profile duo will also be in the same four-ball at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship this week.
Monahan is paired with Billy Horschel, fresh from his BMW PGA Championship win, with Al-Rumayyan teeing up with Dean Burmester.
Furthering the drama in Scotland is the fact that 14 LIV Golf stars are in St Andrews for the DP World Tour event.

It is likely to play a key role in furthering the talks between the PGA Tour, the DP World Tour and the breakaway LIV Golf tour, which is funded by the PIF.
Rich Beem has, however, played down the appearances of some key players in the potential deal, telling Sky Sports Golf: “To be fair, I don’t know if we should read too much into it, because as Jay Monahan said, ‘everything we’re going to do is behind closed doors, we’re not going to give out any information’ just because the nature of the subject and what they must be going through on both sides of it.

“There’s a lot of things legally that have to be passed and looked at. I think it’s interesting, you kind of expected them to be paired together at some point in time.
“I think they’ve got to know each other quite well over the last couple of years, good or bad, but I think they’re going to go out there and we’ll see some good matches, some high fiving, and I think just two guys out there having a lot of fun, enjoying the links.”
