Tommy Fleetwood fell agonisingly short of a maiden PGA Tour win at the Travelers Championship, which was won by Keegan Bradley.
Fleetwood was left gutted after the Travelers Championship, having blown a three-shot lead at TPC River Highlands.
Phil Mickelson loved seeing Bradley win the Travelers Championship, which represents his first title of the season and the eighth of his PGA Tour career.
Fleetwood meanwhile is yet to win on the PGA Tour, and now has six runner-up finishes from his 159 starts.
He finished his four rounds of the Travelers Championship on 14-under, just one shot behind champion Bradley.

Rex Hoggard states the only reason Tommy Fleetwood hasn’t won on the PGA Tour
The Englishman was joined by Russell Henley in second place, with Rex Hoggard now sharing his take on why Fleetwood has repeatedly failed to get over the line on the PGA Tour.
He said on the Golf Channel Podcast with Rex & Lav: “As I am watching Tommy Fleetwood coming down the stretch I kept thinking to myself as I was looking at the stats and watching him play, how has he not won?
“He is by far the best player not to have a PGA Tour title. I jotted down Cam Young as second place, only because I could not come up with another name who I thought would be significantly close.
“It looked as if Tommy was making it look easy. He looked relaxed, he was doing what Scottie Scheffler always does.
“At one point he was picking up almost 11 shots on the field strokes gained from tee to green. It was a very Scottie Scheffler-esque performance right up until it wasn’t, with the two bogeys coming down over his last three holes.
“He just looked uncomfortable. He talked about it afterwards, the idea that he did not execute like he needed to and that is really the difference.

“When you look at what Tommy Fleetwood does well, and the putting can be a little inconsistent, but the rest of his game is world-class by any measure.
“The only way you can justify this and explain this is that somehow he has a hard time going down the stretch. Six runner-up finishes, it is not as though he has not had opportunities, and he has not gotten it done.”
Tommy Fleetwood career PGA Tour stats after Travelers Championship heartache
Fleetwood was visibly upset as he blew his lead at the very last in Connecticut, with the tournament having been in his hands.
The raucous crowd cheering on home favourite Bradley certainly didn’t help matters, nor did the stunning approach shot from the American on the 18th fairway.

Ryder Cup captain Bradley deserves huge praise for his composure, but really the burden must fall on Fleetwood for his failure to cope with the situation.
It certainly wasn’t easy, with huge pressure on his shoulders as he chased a maiden win, but he really should have delivered on this occasion.
