Keegan Bradley broke the heart of Tommy Fleetwood at The Travelers Championship to win yet again on the PGA Tour and now his old buddy Phil Mickelson has reacted on social media.
Bradley and Fleetwood both found the fairway on 18 before Fleetwood left his approach short before three-putting and allowing Bradley to sneak in.
The Team USA Ryder Cup captain duly obliged, holing a fine putt from inside five feet to win and set off wild celebrations around the green.
With Bradley commenting on the implications for the Ryder Cup in the aftermath, it now remains to be seen if he’ll take on the captaincy alongside playing, or reluctantly drop one role.
For now though, it’s all about celebration time for Bradley and over on social media, LIV Golf star Phil Mickelson was quick to share his thoughts.

Phil Mickelson reacts on social media as Keegan Bradley beats Tommy Fleetwood to win The Travelers
Without being too negative, The Travelers was looking like ending up being a bit of a damp squib, especially with Fleetwood being three in front and some of the big names nowhere near.
However, it turned out to once again be an exciting finish and it doesn’t come any more exciting than Bradley overcoming a one shot deficit on the last to win outright.
Indeed, over on X, Phil Mickelson couldn’t contain himself as he reacted to what he’d just seen.
Keegan Bradley can be Captain America at Bethpage Black
Over the years, Patrick Reed is the USA player who has been tagged as being the Ryder Cup team’s ‘Captain America’ when it comes to the crunch.
However, Keegan Bradley is very much taking that mantle off him.
The celebrations and sheer popularity of him mean that if he is to play at Bethpage, then he’s going to be absolutely key in revving up the crowd and making it harder for Europe.
Yes, there are disadvantages if he decides to play and be captain.
But Bradley is riding a wave right now and in a few months’ time, it will be no surprise to see him do both roles and do them well when his country needs him.
