How much does it cost to play Pinehurst No. 2?
There isn’t necessarily a set answer, as what you pay for No. 2 depends on the type of package and the time of year. However, simply put – you will be spending at least $3000.
In order to play Pinehurst No. 2, you have to stay for a two-night minimum at the Pinehurst Resort. So, your greens fee is bundled with all the other amenities, hotel room, meals, and tee times on some of the other courses.
The prices range from around $3,002 to $3,530 per person, but some don’t necessarily include a round playing No. 2. In this case, you can pay a $250 surcharge to add it to your itinerary.
It is also available to play a second round for $595 at peak season and $360 off-season, with a caddie not included.
Can anyone play on Pinehurst No. 2?
Yes, but there are a number of things you have to take into account.
Players need to book tee times in advance, as Pinehurst No. 2 is a popular and often busy course. It is also recommended that, although there are no strict handicap requirements to play on No. 2, due to its challenging nature, it is recommended that players have a reasonable level of skill and experience.
