The PGA Tour made a huge statement earlier this week when they welcomed Brooks Koepka back from LIV Golf.

Koepka is now a fully fledged PGA Tour member once again, having left LIV Golf officially on December 23rd.

Koepka was sensationally reinstated by the PGA Tour earlier this week after CEO Brian Rolapp created the Returning Member Program.

The intricacies of the PGA Tour’s newly-created program felt like a real body blow to LIV.

How will Brooks Koepka perform during the 2026 PGA Tour season?

Could he really win this year?

It was worded cleverly, so that Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau and Cam Smith could follow Koepka if they want to.

That offer expires on February 2nd and as things stand, it seems that those three players will stay with LIV Golf for the 2026 season, at least,

The PGA Tour have played the Brooks Koepka situation incredibly well. Now it’s LIV’s turn.

Will they be able to attract any big name before their 2026 season begins in Riyadh next month?

Marco Penge turns down eight-figure offer from LIV Golf

Talented Englishman Marco Penge has full playing privileges on the PGA Tour this season, after his exceptional performances on the DP World Tour in 2025.

The 27-year-old recorded three wins last year and is one of the most exciting players in the game right now.

He cruises a 190 mph ball speed with his driver and is unquestionably someone who is ready and primed to hit the next level in his career.

Penge withdrew from the PGA Tour season opener in Hawaii this week due to illness.

However, that only added fuel to the flames regarding rumors surrounding his future.

It seems like he may well have held talks with LIV, but the Englishman rejected the Saudi-backed outfit’s proposal.

According to X account Flushing It, Penge has turned down a ‘substantial eight-figure’ contract offer from LIV Golf.

LIV were clearly very keen to acquire Penge, and it’s little wonder as to why.

Marco Penge is a real PGA Tour star of the future

Penge could be a breakout star on the PGA Tour in 2026 and if he has turned down LIV, it will be a major blow for the Saudi-backed league.

The long-hitting Englishman is pure box-office and his explosive power means that he should be perfectly suited to the majority of PGA Tour venues.

Should Bryson DeChambeau leave LIV Golf in 2026?

A graphic reading: "CHANGE MY MIND: Bryson DeChambeau should stay on LIV Golf in 2026"

Penge’s main goal is to win on the PGA Tour in the 2026 season, and he’s more than capable of doing just that.

Would it really surprise anyone if the three-time DP World Tour winner contended in the majors this season?

It shouldn’t do, such is his ability.

Due to his incredible talent, LIV Golf may well still try and tempt him into joining them with an increased offer.

For now, however, Penge is very much a PGA Tour player.
