The PGA Tour continues this week with the RBC Canadian Open, hosted by the Hamilton Golf & Country Club in Ontario.
And amongs the star-studded field taking to the course is American Michael Kim, who currently sits 105th in the world rankings.
The 30-year-old will be up against it from the very start, with the likes of Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry and Tommy Fleetwood among the lineup.
Kim has been in mixed form in 2024 so far, with nine cuts made from his 16 events, most recently missing the cut at the Charles Schwab Challenge.
The American shot 74 and 70 to finish his first two rounds on four-over, with a stronger start surely the target for the Canadian Open.

Michael Kim reveals what Morgan Hoffmann used to eat on the course
Kim is, however, heading to Ontario in high spirits, having carried out a Q&A on X having had his flight delayed.
One question involved the weirdest thing he has seen a PGA Tour player eat in the middle of the round, with Kim responding: “I don’t know if it’s weird but Morgan Hoffmann used to have real meals during his rounds which was cool I thought.”
Who is the favourite to lift the RBC Canadian Open trophy?
The players will have only just left the Colonial Country Club in Texas after the Charles Schwab, which was comfortably won by Davis Riley, who told his caddie that he wanted to be “really detail-oriented” before his success.
Riley will be keen for back-to-back victories, with the Charles Schwab winner joined by Canadian Open defending champion Nick Taylor on the list.
But two-time winner McIlroy will perhaps be the man to beat, having tasted success in the competition in 2019 and 2022.
The Northern Irishman tied for 12th at the PGA Championship, and will be keen to stay on the right track as the US Open rapidly approaches.
The third major of the year gets underway in mid-June, with McIlroy among five past winners who are in with a realistic chance of clinching another victory at Pinehurst.
