Jon Rahm was one of the big names to move to LIV Golf and he’s also a former Masters winner looking to win his second title in the next week or so.
Spanish sensation Rahm has enjoyed big success on LIV Golf since his move but he remains a player of controversy in some people’s eyes, given the nature of his move.
Rahm won The Masters two years ago and remains one of the world’s best players, even though the OWGR doesn’t reflect that point given LIV’s issues.
However, when it comes to winning a second Masters title and potentially more majors, PGA Tour player Michael Kim has pointed out why Rahm and other LIV players could be affected by their new lifestyles.

Michael Kim makes point about Jon Rahm ahead of The Masters
As we all know, Michael Kim loves doing a Q&A with his fans on social media and ahead of making his way to Augusta National, he’s at it again.
One of the most interesting questions this time around came in asking if he feels LIV players will be struggling to deal with their shortened schedule and crucially, if this affects chances of winning majors.
However, while Kim believes it is already apparent, he believes the likes of Jon Rahm can get past it.
As we saw in 2024, Bryson DeChambeau became the first LIV Golf player to win a major when he snatched the US Open from Rory McIlroy.
With many LIV stars teeing it up, Rahm and DeChambeau will definitely be among the big names from LIV looking to win out.

Jon Rahm tipped as one of two LIV Golf players who can win The Masters
While the likes of DeChambeau, Rahm, Phil Mickelson and Brooks Koepka will all hope to win at Augusta, Golf analyst Johnson Wagner believes there’s only two who can realistically do it.
Indeed, Wagner believes both Rahm and fellow Spaniard Sergio Garcia are the two to watch.
“I’m putting Jon Rahm on my list. I think he’s got something to prove this year. He continues to play well on LIV. I would say Bryson, but he’s been terrible to start the year out on LIV,” Wagner said a few weeks back.
“I’m going to go Sergio [Garcia]. Sergio picked up a win. He’s third on the LIV points list. I’m going to go with Sergio and Rahm. I’m flying the Spanish flag.”
However, with DeChambeau in contention to win in LIV Miami, there’s a chance Wagner changes his mind.
