Matt Kuchar labelled the course at the Wyndham Championship ‘nasty’ despite heading into Sunday top of the leaderboard.
Jordan Spieth loves Sedgefield Country Club, while Will Zalatoris compared the Wyndham Championship to Pinehurst.
Both Spieth and Zalatoris failed to make the cut at the Wyndham Championship, with Kuchar having no such problems.
The nine-time PGA Tour winner took the lead on day two after firing a second consecutive 64 in North Carolina.
The star-studded filed have, however, been forced to attempt 36 holes on the final day after rain and bad light disrupted the opening rounds.

Matt Kuchar makes ‘nasty’ Wyndham Championship claim
Kuchar is the solo leader at the Wyndham, but it hasn’t all been fun and games for the 46-year-old at Sedgefield.
“Steady golf,” Kuchar said of his second round, as per TenGolf. “I found a lot of fairways. This Bermuda rough is nasty, you do not want any part of it.
“When it’s dry it’s no fun, when it’s wet it’s really no fun. I stayed out of it a good bit and I was able to get a golf ball in my hand, tee it up and basically be able to be fairly aggressive with the iron shots.”
Can Matt Kuchar hold on for another PGA Tour win?
Kuchar has had a very disappointing year for his standards, with the American clinching just one top 10 spot so far.
Moreover, the veteran has made the cut just eight times from his 19 events, while he finished T50 at the US Open.
Kuchar did, however, hit form ahead of the Wyndham Championship, finishing T3 at the 3M Open late last month.
He will now be keen to follow that up with a strong finish at Sedgefield, with a first title of 2024 now on the cards.
Kuchar went into his final round on 12 under, just one shot clear of Chad Ramey, Max Greyserman and Cameron Young.
