Bryson DeChambeau certainly divides opinion among golf fans, with the American’s actions on the course constantly hitting the headlines.
The LIV Golf star has managed to sneak away from followers of the PGA Tour in more recent times, having made the move to the rival tour in June 2022.
But he has, of course, returned to the latter for the majors, with his pursuit of a second title beginning strongly with a tied-sixth spot at the Masters.
DeChambeau impressively improved upon that finish at the PGA Championship, with the 30-year-old finishing solo second.
But the best was yet to come, with the big-hitting player having now secured a second major at the US Open.

Bryson DeChambeau edges out Rory McIlroy at the US Open
DeChambeau first won the competition back in 2020, with the trophy going his way once more this time around after a hard-fought battle with Rory McIlroy.
The Northern Irishman produced a superb final round as the tournament went down to the wire, but his errors combined with the American’s brilliance ensured the title went to DeChambeau.
A stunning display from the former ended in a disastrous manner as he made bogeys in three of his final four holes.
The latter meanwhile produced an unforgettable bunker shot on the 18th before sinking a four-foot putt to secure the win.
The messages of congratulations have already arrived, with Brooks Koepka welcoming DeChambeau to the two-time US Open winners club, and Phil Mickelson saying nobody deserves the success more.
