The Masters at Augusta National is rapidly approaching, with PGA Tour and LIV Golf players both involved.
Joaquin Niemann and Jon Rahm have been named as Masters contenders, with the pair first and second respectively in the LIV Golf individual standings.
Their fellow LIV Golf star Bryson DeChambeau says he is ‘ready’ for the Masters, which takes place later this month.
Augusta National plays host to the major championship once more, where world number one Scottie Scheffler is the defending champion.
The Valero Texas Open takes place on the PGA Tour before it switches to Masters mode, while LIV Golf Miami is also before the major.

Curtis Strange warns LIV Golf players over ‘different animal’ at Augusta National
All LIV Golf players have, however, been sent a warning by two-time US Open champion Curtis Strange before the action gets underway.
Speaking in a call with selected members of the media hosted by ESPN, he said: “I’ve said this for how many years now, three now, that the guys coming from LIV, in their atmosphere in which they play their tournaments, this is a different animal at Augusta National and the four majors that they come over for the year.
“I think they miss it. I think some relish in it, and I think they come and play well. It doesn’t mean they will, but I think they miss the atmosphere.
“I think they miss the energy from the people, the environment, the other players. You gain great energy during the week, especially during those down times in a round from the people.

“I think they really look forward to this a great deal. Now, can they harness that and project and still execute the shots is another story.
“But I think all those guys that you would think would have a chance to win will do well this week. There’s no reason why they shouldn’t.”
Which LIV Golf players will be at The Masters in 2025?
A total of 12 LIV Golf players will be involved at Augusta this year, having earned exemptions via different ways.
They will, of course, be eyeing success in Georgia for themselves but perhaps also for their tour, in a bid to cause an upset on the PGA Tour.
| Player | Exemption |
| Bryson DeChambeau | 2024 US Open champion |
| Sergio Garcia | Past Masters champion |
| Tyrrell Hatton | Top 12 in 2024 Masters |
| Dustin Johnson | Past Masters champion |
| Brooks Koepka | 2023 PGA champion |
| Phil Mickelson | Past Masters champion |
| Joaquin Niemann | Special invite |
| Jon Rahm | Past Masters champion |
| Patrick Reed | Past Masters champion |
| Charl Schwartzel | Past Masters champion |
| Cameron Smith | 2022 Open champion |
| Bubba Watson | Past Masters champion |
DeChambeau did that last year at the US Open, but the other three majors were won by Scheffler and fellow PGA Tour star Xander Schauffele.
But plenty of iconic and importantly in-form players now have the chance to ruffle a few feathers with a surprise win.
