Bryson DeChambeau is currently preparing for LIV Golf Hong Kong, but he does have one eye on the Masters at Augusta.
The PGA Tour and LIV Golf could sign a deal before the Masters, which returns to Augusta early next month.
DeChambeau is appreciated on the PGA Tour, but remains a key figure in LIV Golf, where he is the captain of Crushers GC.
He sits in 14th place in the LIV Golf individual standings, having finished T6 and T18 at Riyadh and Adelaide respectively.
DeChambeau’s Crusher GC side meanwhile currently occupies third place in the team standings with back-to-back fourth place finishes.

The American won nine times on the PGA Tour before his move to LIV Golf, with his honours list also comprising two major championships.

“I’ve made some switches with the golf ball, and this week we’re trying it out. It’s been pretty solid so far, so we’ll see how that works.
“But I’m just comfortable. I’m excited is really what it comes down to. However the cards play out, they’ll play out, but I am genuinely excited for this year.”

Bryson DeChambeau eyes another Augusta practice round before the Masters
Both of DeChambeau’s major championship victories have come at the US Open, arriving in 2020 and 2024.
He beat Matthew Wolff by six shots at Winged Foot in 2020, before edging past Rory McIlroy by one shot at Pinehurst last year.
DeChambeau has a busy schedule ahead of Augusta, with LIV Golf Miami taking place at Trump National Doral right before the Masters.
But he still plans to tackle Augusta one more time before the major arrives, having also been asked if he’s had the chance to make a trip there.
“I went there on the 6th of January, so I had a little practice round,” he said. “I might get one more in before Miami, but we’ll see.”
