The LIV Golf season continues, and it’s time for arguably the biggest event on the tour as the top players head to Australia for Adelaide 2025.

Things kicked off for LIV Golf last week at the Riyadh Golf Club. It was a thrilling event and one that proved night golf should be a regular fixture in the sporting calendar.

While Adrian Meronk took the individual win with a score of 17 under par, it was Legion XIII who claimed the team win by quite some distance with a final score of 50 under.

Now, we move on to Adelaide 2025 and the Grange Golf Club, as Jon Rahm looks to improve on his second-placed finish last weekend, and Cam Smith aims for glory in his native Australia.

Everything you need to know about LIV Golf Adelaide 2025

LIV Golf Adelaide dates

LIV Golf Adelaide begins on Friday, February 14, 2025. The third and final round takes place on Sunday, February 16.

To note, the event may technically begin on Friday lunchtime in Australia, but if you’re watching from the US, you’ll have to stay up late on Thursday night.

Where is LIV Golf Adelaide?

LIV Golf Adelaide will be hosted at The Grange Golf Club in Australia. It’s a course Rahm previously described as ‘pretty special’ and one which has an ‘amazing’ atmosphere.

The Grange Golf Club actually has two courses: the East course and the West course. The latter was the first to open and was redesigned in 2007 by Mike Clayton. The East course opened far later, in 1967, and has also benefitted from remodelling to get it to the standard of the West course.

Talor Gooch was the winner in the first-ever LIV event at Adelaide in 2023, with a score of 19 under.

Who are the players to watch at LIV Golf Adeliade?

Naturally, all eyes will be on Cam Smith and his Ripper teammates as they look to make an impact on home soil. Nothing would please the crowds in Australia more than to see a native take the title, and Lucas Herbert will also be one to watch.

Meanwhile, big names like Bryson DeChambeau, Tyrrell Hatton, and Joaquin Niemann will be key players to keep an eye on over the weekend as always, along with the favourite for the event, Jon Rahm.

Rahm’s impressive Legion XIII team are off to a great start this season, and any one of the players from that group could make a big impact this weekend.

How to watch LIV Golf Adelaide in the US

Fans in the United States can watch TV coverage of the action on FS1 and FS2 or stream coverage on Foxsports.com and the Fox Sports App.

As the event is taking place in Australia, US viewers on the East Coast will be roughly 15 hours behind. The first hole tees off at 12:45 in Adelaide on Friday lunchtime, which is 9:15pm Thursday night for those in the US, but coverage won’t actually start until 11pm.

LIV Golf Adelaide 2025 predictions

The Golfing Gazette team have put their heads together to come up with their own predictions for who will prevail at LIV Golf Adelaide 2025.

Jordan Harris: It would be a big boost for LIV if they had an Australian winner at what is swiftly becoming their flagship event. But, rather than Cam Smith, Ripper teammate Lucas Herbert is getting the nod. He has been knocking on the door for a little while on LIV and finished tied for fourth in Riyadh.

Peter Lynch: There have been a few shock winners in recent times, to say the least, but I think normal service will be resumed with a home win for Cam Smith at LIV Golf Adelaide. One of the best putters out there, his all-Australian Ripper GC side won this event last year, and I think the skipper can emerge victorious on an individual level this time around.

Sam Stone: Brooks Koepka loves firm and fast golf courses, and that’s precisely what will present itself at The Grange. The five-time major winner will be looking to bounce back from a difficult week in Riyadh, and I am backing him to win his first LIV event of 2025 down under.

Jakob Barnes: Unfortunately, Australian fans may well be disappointed this weekend, as Jon Rahm is hungry for a victory, and he was only a couple of strokes away from success last time out at Riyadh. On his day, the Spaniard is untouchable, and he will fancy making a big statement at LIV’s most high-profile event.
