Keegan Bradley came out on top this weekend at the BMW Championship as he held off Adam Scott on the final day.

Bradley finished on 13 under par to win out over Scott, Ludvig Aberg and Sam Burns.

A stunning second into the par five 17th all but sealed the deal for Bradley, who becomes one of the only players in history to win a tournament after being named a Ryder Cup captain.

Of course, that Ryder Cup is all the way down the line in 2025 and there’s a tournament in September this year that may have Bradley’s attention. The Presidents Cup.

Keegan Bradley refuses to be drawn on if he’ll play in the Presidents Cup

Bradley has already been picked as an assistant to Jim Furyk and after winning this week, is now in contention to be a captain’s pick.

However, speaking immediately after winning at Castle Pines, Bradley refused to be drawn on the situation and when asked if he’d be playing, simply replied ‘I don’t know, I don’t know’ on repeat.

Bradley has earned his spot in the Presidents Cup

While he’s not done enough over the season to earn a place in the top six and be considered an automatic pick, there are few better shouts for a pick than Keegan Bradley.

The Presidents Cup team is already stacked with the likes of Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele and Collin Morikawa selected.

The big question for Bradley, really, will be if he fancies going along as a vice-captain to get experience for Bethpage. Or, he simply wants to go and play and compete.

At the moment, the likes of Brian Harman, Justin Thomas, Sam Burns, and Billy Horschel are among those hoping to get a call from Furyk.

But of those players, Bradley is the man in form and based just off this weekend, he deserves the nod.
