Keegan Bradley is among the stars currently balancing their time between the PGA Tour and TGL, with his most recent appearance coming at the latter.

But it is the former that is currently hitting the headlines in world golf, often worryingly for the wrong reasons.

The PGA Tour has come under fire amid instances of slow play, with the TGL including a shot clock in order to avoid that issue.

Bradley and Boston Common Golf returned in the latest round of TGL, where they lost 5-4 to The Bay Golf Club.

Boston Common are now winless from their three TGL matches, having also lost to Los Angeles Golf Club and Jupiter Links GC.

Keegan Bradley says rangefinders on PGA Tour is ‘common sense’

Bradley is also yet to win on the PGA Tour this season, finishing T34 at the Genesis Invitational last time out.

And another potential rule change emerged ahead of the event, with Collin Morikawa saying he would use a rangefinder if allowed.

Such devices are allowed at the PGA Championship but not in other PGA Tour events, with Bradley now sharing his thoughts on their potential introduction.

“I think it’s a no-brainer,” he said on the Dan on Golf podcast. “We play golf every day of our lives. The amateurs play with rangefinders.

“All it does is make things easier. We are still getting the same numbers we are getting from the fairway. I think it’s common sense.”

Keegan Bradley says American Ryder Cup team will take shape after US Open

Thus far in 2025 on the PGA Tour, Europeans have stolen the show, with Ludvig Aberg winning the Genesis Invitational.

The Swede triumphed at Torrey Pines after Belgian Thomas Detry won the WM Phoenix Open, with Northern Irish star Rory McIlroy previously winning the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Sepp Straka meanwhile won The American Express, with all of their success coming in a year in which Europe travel to America for the Ryder Cup.

Sharing an update on his thought process about playing at Bethpage Black, US captain Bradley said: “It’s tough. I am thinking about the Ryder Cup at every moment, even when I am trying not to, I still have thoughts.

“And really when I get inside the ropes is when I don’t think about it. It has kind of been therapeutic for me to get inside the ropes as I do feel a heavy obligation to the guys to do the right thing and be prepared.

And asked if he has a running list of 12 already, he replied: “Well, you have the main guys who are up there as some of the best players in the world.

“Then you have the 10 to 20 guys who could be on the team. I am keeping an eye on them but we are still way too early.

“I think when we get past the US Open, the second major, then we can really start to see how the team is taking shape.”
