This week’s RSM Classic at the Sea Island Resort is the final event of the 2025 PGA Tour season.
The regular season concluded with the FedEx Cup playoffs in August, where Tommy Fleetwood won the Tour Championship title.
However, the Fall Series has since taken place over the past few months, with many lesser-known players in the fields.
PGA Tour superstar Justin Thomas has just explained why he cannot wait to watch the showdown, The RSM Classic.

Justin Thomas is looking forward to The RSM Classic this week
The RSM Classic is one of the most important events on the PGA Tour, not in stature but in significance.
The event is the last chance for players to make the top 100 in the FedEx Cup standings and earn their Tour cards for the following year.
Jordan Spieth fitness update ahead of the 2026 PGA Tour season
It’s probably the tournament where the most dreams are made and hearts are broken, which is why Justin Thomas will be watching.
“Excited to watch the RSM Classic this week,” he tweeted. “Yes, partially because I can’t really do much besides sitting on my recliner, but also the level of importance of this tournament for players and next season.
“Every shot hit from the entire 2025 season comes down to this one week for some guys.
“The difference of having a Tour card or not, getting into The Players/elevated events on the line, having a schedule vs playing when you can get in, can all come down to one shot, putt, or decision this week…
“There are so many storylines. I will be tuned in to watch the drama unfold!”
Do you think Jordan Spieth will be deserving of invites into the signature events in 2026?
