The PGA Tour returns this week for the final time in the 2025 season with The RSM Classic in Georgia.
The RSM Classic is the final event of the FedExCup Fall schedule, after which all eyes will turn to the 2026 PGA Tour season.
But there is certainly plenty at stake this week, with 2026 PGA Tour cards on the line at Sea Island Golf Club.
And given that exciting scenario, the PGA Tour is introducing a new television feature in order to fully capture the drama.

PGA Tour set to introduce new TV feature at The RSM Classic
Called Cut Line, the new show from PGA Tour Studios will debut on Friday, offering on-site coverage, in-studio analysis and player reactions as the action unfolds.
The top 100 players in the FedExCup standings after The RSM Classic will secure exempt status for 2026, with varying levels of conditional status available for positions 101-150.
Golf fans have been waiting ‘10 years’ for this week’s PGA Tour feature
Cut Line is certainly a welcome addition to the regular footage, with that sentiment shared by many golf fans upon the announcement.
“Thank you,” one fan wrote simply on X, while another commented on the PGA Tour’s Instagram post: “Love to see it!”
The timing of the introduction was also brought up, with fans saying: “10 years late but cool” and “only been asking for 5+ years, thanks.”
Such fans have now had their wishes granted as they prepare for the exciting action, although those in the field will perhaps be feeling more nerves than excitement.
Offering insight into the concept, the PGA Tour website noted: “Viewers can expect extended live golf coverage as second-round play wraps up at Sea Island, with hosts and analysts lending immediate context and insight around the most impactful swings and putts as the projected cut line comes more into focus – along with the consequences for players on either side of it. The live streaming show will continue until play concludes Friday afternoon in Georgia.”
Several high-profile names are currently sitting outside the top 100, with Matt Wallace ranked in 102nd place and Matt Kuchar in 113th.
Intriguingly, occupying 108th place in the standings and having initially been in the field this week, Victor Perez has just joined LIV Golf.
