Bryson DeChambeau is the US Open champion and a number of fellow pros have been giving their reaction to his win.
DeChambeau saw off a strong challenge from Rory McIlroy to hole out on 18 and win out at Pinehurst.
It was a topsy-turvy battle between DeChambeau and McIlroy and the Northern Irishman seemed to have it in the bag at one point after opening a two shot lead.
However, DeChambeau fought back well and after Rory missed two short putts in the last four holes – including an excruciating one on 18 – DeChambeau mopped up to win.
And in a world of golf that can often be so divided, players from around the world have been sending their messages of congratulations, including Justin Thomas.

Justin Thomas sends message to Bryson DeChambeau after he wins the US Open
Taking to X to show some love towards Bryson, Thomas lauded the up and down on 18 that won it for the American.
Who else has reacted to Bryson DeChambeau’s US Open win?
We already saw in the immediate aftermath of the win that Phil Mickelson was on hand to laud his fellow LIV Golf star.
But more have come out to congratulate DeChambeau as well, in what has been a nice touch to round out the weekend.
Matthieu Pavon, who finished in in fifth place, was also on social media, sending his well-wishes towards the winner.
Along with Pavon and Mickelson, Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald was also quick to reply to the action, as he sympathised with Rory McIlroy but lauded DeChambeau’s effort.
Clearly, the golfing world is a big fan of what DeChambeau has been doing lately.
Indeed, his YouTube channel has allowed fans a new look into his life as a golfer and opened up news eyes to how he really is.
DeChambeau, then, seems in a good place right now and could well go onto win even more majors as the years progress.
