Justin Thomas will continue his search for another PGA Tour title at the WM Phoenix Open, having finished T48 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Thomas’s last PGA Tour win was in 2022, although that did arrive in the form of his second PGA Championship title.
Rory McIlroy won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, edging past the likes of Shane Lowry, Lucas Glover and Justin Rose to take home the trophy.
McIlroy won on his first PGA Tour start in 2025, with Thomas now three tournaments in after taking on The Sentry, The American Express and the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
The American finished T26 in the former before a superb display saw him take second in the latter, finishing just two shots behind champion Sepp Straka.

Justin Thomas and Condoleezza Rice exchange messages after playing AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am
Thomas will now turn his focus to Arizona for the WM Phoenix Open, but first took time to exchange messages with former United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice after their time together at Pebble Beach.
“Grateful for another unforgettable week at Pebble Beach,” Rice wrote on X. “Always an honour to be part of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Thanks to my partner, Justin Thomas, and congratulations to Rory McIlroy.”
Sharing the message, Thomas replied: “Enjoyed our time, partner! From the birdie on five Friday to many great laughs and conversations. Always enjoy being around Condoleezza Rice.”
Condoleezza Rice’s handicap and memberships after making history at Augusta National
The former Secretary of State has a storied history with golf, with Rice and South Carolina financier Darla Moore in August 2012 becoming the first female members at Augusta National Golf Club since it was founded in 1932.
She said on The Kudlow Report on CNBC in 2012 that she played two or three times a week, and had a handicap of 14 despite only taking up the sport in 2005.

“I only started playing in 2005, and I didn’t play very much because of Secretary of State,” she said at the time. “So I really started playing in 2009.”

A shocked Larry Kudlow interjected: “And you’re down to a 14!” with Rice replying: “Yes. But for those golfers out there, if I can get better from 100 yards in, it’ll plummet. I love to putt. I love to drive the ball and I love to putt.”
In February 2023, USA Today reported that the former Secretary of State, who is now 70 years old, had a handicap of 11.6.
She shared her love of the game with the USGA Golf Journal in 2018, which noted her membership at Alabama’s Shoal Creek, host of the 2018 U.S. Women’s Open Championship.
