Rory McIlroy has commenced his 2025 PGA Tour season in the best possible way by winning the AT&T Pro-Am, where he was closely followed by Shane Lowry and Justin Rose.
McIlroy is delighted to have won the AT&T Pro-Am at Pebble Beach, where he finished on 21-under, two shots ahead of Lowry.
Rose then continued the superb European efforts at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am by finishing tied-third with Lucas Glover on 18-under.
One of the most iconic courses in world golf, Tiger Woods won the 2000 US Open at Pebble Beach, shortly after winning the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
The 15-time major champion was not involved this time around, but world number one Scottie Scheffler returned from injury at the PGA Tour event, finishing T9.

Justin Rose frustrated by ‘slow greens’ at AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am
There was, however, an issue for Rose despite his fine finish, with the Englishman having been asked for the biggest challenge at Pebble Beach in his final press conference.
“The putting, the greens were slow,” he replied. “I think they were a bit scared about the wind, I don’t think the wind materialised maybe as much they could have.
“I think they backed off the greens a little too much, they got very pudding-like, so that made it challenging to hole putts.”
And asked if he had to adjust to it, Englishman Rose responded: “You had to adjust to it really, I think, exactly.
“You were happy to hit putts and sometimes for a pro, for a Tour pro, you want to just read it and stroke it where I feel like you had to make a bit of a conscious effort to get it to the hole.”
Justin Rose congratulates Rory McIlroy on AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am win
Despite his grievances with the greens, 2013 US Open champion Rose was in formidable form at Pebble Beach.
Rounds of 65, 69, 68 and 68 will certainly boost his confidence after he missed the cut at the Farmers Insurance Open last month.
He certainly enjoyed himself at the iconic Californian course, especially after holing out for eagle with a fairway wood on the 18th.
Rose has since reacted to his performance and indeed that of the winner, with the Englishman writing on X: “Always such a special week AT&T Pro-Am and what a great way to finish!
“Congratulations Rory McIlroy on the trophy. Thanks for all the support Team Rose. Next stop TGL Tuesday night for Los Angeles Golf Club.”
