LIV Golf UK is set to get underway at JCB Golf and Country Club and some of the world’s best players have made equipment alterations ahead of the event.
It promises to be a challenging week, with the course primed to test all aspects. Patrick Reed was less than impressed with the thick rough during his practice round.
Lee Westwood has also claimed the course looks very tricky after playing the front nine for the first time.
With a stacked field set to feature, LIV Golf UK will be the main attraction for the golfing world this weekend.
Tyrrell Hatton, Jon Rahm and Phil Mickelson make equipment changes for LIV Golf JCB

With JCB set to provide a very different challenge compared to last week’s Open Championship, some players are looking to test out new equipment.
And LIV Golf’s Mike McAllister has shared the latest on X.
According to McAllister, Jon Rahm has switched his ball from the Callaway Tour-Pro X to the Chrome Soft X 22.
Taylor Gooch has changed his putter for the first time since joining LIV, with the American now using the Callaway Odyssey Ai-ONE #2.
Tyrrell Hatton has also switched putters, opting to test out the Ping Tour PLD putter. Finally, Phil Mickelson has also made an alteration to his putter, with the lefty now using a Superstroke grip.
LIV Golf stars continue to push equipment limits as Bryson DeChambeau leads the way
Bryson DeChambeau’s desire to push the limits in terms of equipment has perhaps paved the way for his fellow LIV Golf stars to follow suit.
In the modern game, players looking to constantly alter all forms of equipment have become commonplace.
Whether that be balls, putters or grips, the technology has provided players with a means of improving.
Keeping an eye on Hatton and his new putter could be interesting this week. The Englishman has been in fine form lately and wasn’t in dire need of improvement on the greens.
