Jon Rahm has produced two of the biggest moments at the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black so far.
Rahm hit an unbelievable recovery shot from the rough in his foursomes match with Tyrrell Hatton on Friday morning.
He then one-upped himself on Saturday morning with an incredible chip-in from a horrible lie.
Rahm explained the thought process behind his shot after he won his second foursomes match with Hatton on Saturday.

Jon Rahm reflects on his chip-in at the Ryder Cup
Rahm faced such a difficult chip on the eighth hole that all he wanted to do was give his partner a decent chance of making par.
Thankfully for Team Europe, he hit it to perfection and made an unlikely birdie, which Xander Schauffele could not match.
“The only benefit to that whole situation was that they were off the green as well, so I could afford to be aggressive and hopefully leave a decent putt,” Rahm told Sky Sports.
“I was honestly just trying to put it on the green, hopefully with somewhat the right line and distance.
“Thankfully, it came out absolutely perfect. There’s a bit of luck involved, but I’m playing well, and I got really decent contact on it.”

Jon Rahm carried Tyrrell Hatton in Saturday foursomes match
Rahm and Hatton both played well in beating Bryson DeChambeau and Justin Thomas on Friday morning.
However, Hatton did not provide as much support to his LIV Golf teammate in the Saturday foursomes session.
Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton stats in Saturday foursomes
| Player | Putting | Around the Green | Approach | Off the Tee | Total |
| Jon Rahm | -0.82 | +1.55 | +2.19 | -0.35 | +2.57 |
| Tyrrell Hatton | +0.07 | -0.17 | -1.56 | +0.04 | -1.62 |
Rahm’s putting and driving were slightly below average, but his chipping and iron play were absolutely superb.
Hatton particularly struggled with his approach shots, so Rahm had to be at his best to secure the point for Team Europe.
