Rory McIlroy finally has his hands on the green jacket, following fellow European Jon Rahm in winning The Masters.
Rahm was criticised for ignoring the divide in golf upon his arrival at The Masters, having been one of 12 LIV Golf players taking part in the event.
The Spaniard was then one of seven such players to make the cut, with PGA Tour star Rory McIlroy emerging victorious.
McIlroy wants a multiple win season in terms of major championships in 2025, having just completed the career grand slam.
His win at The Masters means he has now won all four major championships, becoming just the sixth player to achieve the feat.

Rahm meanwhile finished T14 at Augusta National, ending his tournament on three-under, eight shots behind McIlroy.
The LIV Golf icon has now analysed his week on social media, and has sent a message to the champion from Augusta.

“What an amazing week,” Rahm wrote on X. “We witnessed history made on Sunday, 6th man and first ever European to accomplish the grand slam! Congrats Rory!!!! This is something we all dream about and he achieved it.
“As for myself rough start to the tournament set me back too far to have any chance but happy about my play on the weekend. It’s always a pleasure to get to go back to Augusta National! There is nothing like it.”
How did Jon Rahm score at The Masters won by Rory McIlroy?
Rahm does, of course, know what it takes to conquer Augusta, having clinched the green jacket back in 2023.
He emulated a handful of compatriots with the triumph, with Seve Ballesteros, Josa Maria Olazabal and Sergio Garcia having won before him.

| Stat | Total | Rank |
| Birdies | 14 | T27 |
| Pars | 47 | T13 |
| Bogeys | 11 | T18 |
This time around, however, a slow start really did hurt his chances of success, but Rahm can be happy about getting progressively better as the week went on.
He carded rounds of 75, 71, 70 and 69 to end on 285 in Georgia, level with his Legion XIII teammate Tyrrell Hatton.
