Jon Rahm now sends message to Tyrrell Hatton and Legion XIII ahead of the team finale at LIV Dallas

Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII are preparing to go out and try and win the team championship at LIV Dallas today, albeit without their inspirational skipper.

Rahm is out of the tournament thanks to a bout of illness and will be looking on as Tyrrell Hatton instead leads the team in the final four.

Of course, Rahm’s illness and withdrawal has not gone down well with the golf masses.

However, after Tyrrell Hatton admitted he’d spoken to Rahm and he appeared on the mend, it looks like the Spaniard is very much taking on a role of cheerleader.

And over on social media, Rahm has tweeted out his message of support for the Legion XIII boys.

Taking to X to show his support for his teammates, Rahm has posted a message suggesting he is ‘gutted’ to not be part of the team.

For all the questions around LIV Golf and what the future might hold for golf in general, there is no doubt that Jon Rahm’s move to LIV has been a success.

Rahm has won the individual title himself and the Legion XIII guys have won four times as a team over the season as well.

So while Rahm is costing the PIF big money and his exit from the PGA caused plenty of issues, Rahm will argue he has been worth the expense.

Yes, he should be out there and the idea of flu-like symptoms keeping someone out of a big golf event seems a touch off.

Rahm will face questions on that, of course. But in the end, if his team does the business, he can look back on a stellar 2024 and look to go into 2025 as one of the best players in the world again.
