Away from the intense competition found on the PGA Tour, several players are capable of providing light-hearted moments and even showing some humour.

Max Homa, for example, often displays a humorous side on social media and was involved in a hilarious spat with LIV Golf’s Cleeks GC back in January.

Elsewhere, Xander Schauffele is known as one of the Tour’s funniest players and left golf fans in hysterics during Scottie Scheffler’s press conference at the St Jude Championship. The world number three opted to interview the player he was hunting down at the top of the FedEx Cup standings.

Another golfer who has a well-documented softer side is Joel Dahmen.

Dahmen rose to fame after season two of Netflix’s Full Swing. The American was by no means a big name on Tour before the show but has since become a fan favourite.

The 37-year-old just retained his Tour card in 2024 but has enjoyed a solid start to the new season.

An ever-present on social media, Dahmen hosted a Q&A on Monday evening and named the golfer he believes is the funniest on the PGA Tour.

A fan asked: “Who’s the funniest guy to be paired up with on tour?”

Dahmen replied: “Mark Hubbard.”

Hubbard has played seven events so far in 2025 and finished 12th at the Sony Open. However, the 35-year-old has missed three consecutive cuts.

Elsewhere in his Q&A, Dahmen claimed that Mesa Country Club in Arizona should be given a major championship.

Joel Dahmen’s 2025 PGA Tour record

After just keeping his PGA Tour card at the RSM Classic, Dahmen has made three of six cuts in 2025. His best performance came at the Mexico Open, where he ended the week in a tie for sixth and earned $245,000 in the process.

Dahmen also finished inside the top ten at the Farmers Insurance Open and earned another $225,000 in prize money. The Netflix star placed tied for 32nd at last week’s Honda Classic.

Dahmen was critical of PGA National’s setup on day one after Jake Knapp became the 15th player to shoot a sub-60 round on the PGA Tour. Thankfully, the course toughened up over the weekend. Joe Highsmith, after making the cut on the number, finished 19 under to clinch his first PGA Tour win.
