Ian Poulter has been a loyal LIV Tour golfer, with the Englishman not looking like changing his tone anytime soon.
Talks between LIV and the PGA Tour took place in New York last week, but the rival tours are yet to agree on a final outcome.
Some PGA Tour players want LIV players to hand back money they have made on the PIF-funded venture.
But that is undoubtedly a very unlikely scenario, and will only continue to create a divide as the respective seasons continue.
One major talking point in the divide has been the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR), which doesn’t recognise LIV events.

Ian Poulter wants major championship change to help LIV Tour players
LIV Golf star Poulter has now addressed the issue, discussing the breakaway tour and his former tour on Al Arabiya News.
“The system that we have in place right now, the OWGR is really the only criteria to get into the majors,” said Poulter. “In LIV we don’t have world ranking points so that’s tricky. You will see fewer guys on LIV at the minute who are eligible to play in those majors.
“It’s up to the majors themselves to be able to enhance their product and see the vision of who do we want to see play golf? Do we want to see the best players in the world in our tournament or do they not?
“At some stage I think common sense will prevail and they would like to see the personalities in the game and the best players in the world play together. Each month that goes past we lose another top ranked player who falls outside the top 50, that’s difficult for their product.
“Moving forward you just have to be able to qualify for world ranking points for that to happen until that changes.
“I am very hopeful things will change moving forward and that will give players on LIV and the great players we all know should be in the top 50 in the world to gain their spot back within the majors.”
What is Ian Poulter’s major championship record?
Poulter is undoubtedly keen to get back playing in the major events of the Masters, PGA Championship, US Open and The Open Championship.
He certainly boasts plenty of majors experience from his time on the PGA Tour, with eight top-10 finishes going his way.
Poulter, who is the Majesticks GC co-captain on LIV, came very close to a memorable win on home soil, but had to settle for a runner-up spot at The Open in 2008.
The former world number five will, however, seemingly have to wait quite some time before a return to the biggest stage of them all.
A Ryder Cup return could even be at the back of his mind, with the Englishman boasting a 15-8-2 record, but Poulter being Team Europe captain is more likely.
