Bryson DeChambeau provided something of a shot in the arm for LIV Golf with the 30-year-old triumphing at the US Open for his second major title at the weekend.

Bryson DeChambeau saw off the challenge of Rory McIlroy on a dramatic Sunday around Pinehurst No. 2, with the American managing to make a par on the last to avoid a play-off.

It was the first major title won by a LIV Golf player since Brooks Koepka‘s victory at last year’s PGA Championship, but how did the rest of the 11 players from the breakaway tour get on in North Carolina?

Here is where each LIV player finished at the third major of the year…

T12 – Sergio Garcia +1

Sergio Garcia actually registered his best finish at a US Open since 2016, with the Spaniard one shot outside the top 10. His best round of the week came on Thursday when he opened with a 69.

T26 – Tyrrell Hatton +6

Tyrrell Hatton actually went into Sunday with an outside chance of putting pressure on DeChambeau, but a final day 77 saw the Englishman fall right out of contention.

T26 – Brooks Koepka +6

Brooks Koepka’s second round took him out of the picture, with the five-time major champion just about making the cut. Koepka was one of those to react on social media to DeChambeau’s victory.

T32 – Cameron Smith +7

Cameron Smith will hope that The Open Championship brings the best out of him once again as it has been a little while since the Australian has been at his best. He finished over par in all four of his rounds.

55 – David Puig +11

Two poor rounds bookended David Puig’s second US Open appearance, but the 22-year-old will contend at some stage, surely there is no question.

T64 – Martin Kaymer +13

It was not a successful defence for Martin Kaymer who finished eight shots clear 10 years ago, as he failed to break par in any of his rounds.

69 – Dean Burmester +15

Dean Burmester’s first US Open appearance since 2019 was underwhelming, with a 71 on Saturday proving to be a highlight.
