Tiger Woods is back on a golf course, although not in the capacity that many fans would have wanted.
Woods has found his name in the spotlight after Scottie Scheffler’s win at The Open, with plenty of comparisons being drawn between the duo.
But Scheffler has played down the comparisons with Woods, who is currently out of action as he continues to recover from injury.
The 15-time major winner has instead been focusing on his golf course design firm TGR Design, with Marcella Club currently on his agenda.
Located in Utah, it represents the first mountain course from the team, with Woods having just paid it a visit to check on the progress.

Golf fans agree after glimpse of Tiger Woods’ first mountain course design
Sharing footage of the course, he wrote on X: “My TGR Design team and I made a special visit to Marcella Club in Park City, Utah to witness the incredible progress we’re making.
“We walked the site, saw the new sod which is already installed on several holes, and directed final shaping on the holes still under construction. I can’t wait to see the finished product of our first mountain design.”

And the design has generated excitement among many golf fans, one of whom replied on X: “Woods! I can foresee Marcella being a stunning course!”
A second fan commented: “Looking good Tiger! I’ll have to play Marcella Club in Park City, Utah when you invite me.”
Others kept their responses short and sweet, writing: “Impressive,” “Looks fantastic,” “Beautiful” and “Killer views!”
What does Tiger Woods have in mind for Marcella Club?
Woods has been named the best golfer ever, and so it should come as no surprise that his golf course design plans have caused plenty of excitement.
Many fans will be desperate to see him actually swinging a club, but his latest design update is certainly better than nothing.
The 18-hole course is one of two planned for Marcella Club, a private club that aims to boast some of the most spectacular views in golf.
It should offer 360-degree views of the Uinta Mountains, Jordanelle Reservoir, Deer Valley Resort, and the Heber Valley.
And as for the actual golf, “the course will provide a stern test for low handicap golfers, yet also present a fun, family-friendly experience to allow individuals of all skill levels to come together and enjoy the course,” as per TGR Design.
Woods should be eager to be among those taking on the course upon its completion, which may just motivate him to really step up his return to fitness.
