2024 wasn’t exactly a brilliant year for Tiger Woods as he struggled to make an impression in all four major.

Woods was cut in three of the four majors and only snuck through at the Masters after some poor scoring overall allowed him to cling on.

In the end, though, Woods still came out in 60th place and on the whole, he’ll have been bitterly disappointed with how things panned out.

Of course, Woods’ injuries and the fact his body simply can’t handle things nowadays plays a big part and that means that he’s effectively playing a reduced schedule until he retires.

Still, Woods remains in the public eye and after fans debated this weekend if Scottie Scheffler is the greatest player since Tiger, fans are now debating about just Woods himself.

The burning question on those fans’ lips is just how much will we see of Woods in 2025?

Indeed, that very question was put out to the masses over on X by the TWLegion account.

And it’s safe to say it drew plenty of attention in the replies.

Golf fans debate just how much Tiger Woods will play in 2025

As with anything that brings up Tiger’s schedule and injuries, fans love to get involved and a lot of them do live in hope of him making a miraculous return.

However, it seems on this occasion, even the most optimistic of Tiger fans are suggesting we’ll be seeing minimal Tiger Woods action in 2025.

Another user, @kbosjfn30, suggested slightly more than just the majors…

“Genesis,4 majors, Hero, PNC. Body can’t handle more then that”

While @Nicky1graham picked up on Tiger’s recent comments and suggested just the majors, with maybe one more thrown in if we’re lucky.

“He said 1 a month and wasn’t close to that I’m gonna say the 4 majors again and possibly hero”

Another fan, @fakesportbot, suggested Tiger actually play some of the lesser events as a thank you to the golfing world.

He doesn’t need to, but it would a very nice gesture if he chose some of the lesser tournaments on his farewell tour.

Finally, adding a bit more optimism to the conversation, @JeanLuisSantia1 admitted they were hopeful of seeing a bit more of Tiger.

“I think his optimism with his body is encouraging. If his body continues to improve in the offseason, we may see him use more elevated events as reps. I can see something like: Hero, PNC, Pebble, Genesis, API or Players, 4 majors, and Memorial ( 2 weeks before us open in 2025)”

As we can see, it very much feels like the golfing world wants to see Tiger Woods more often.

The big question now is, can his body handle it or is he going to need to cut back even further? Time, of course, will tell.
