The Race to Dubai continues with the DP World India Championship and the playing field for the event in New Delhi has some huge names.

Last week, we saw Xander Schauffele nab the title at the Baycurrent Classic. Meanwhile, Marco Penge climbed the Race to Dubai standings after a play-off win at the Spanish Open.

Now, we jet over to South Asia for the penultimate tournament before the DP World Tour heads into play-off territory.

Will Rory McIlroy extend his lead in the Race to Dubai? Or, will challengers like Brian Harman, Viktor Hovland, and Ben Griffin have something to say this week?

Here, The Golfing Gazette shares everything you need to know about the DP World India Championship.

Predictions

Here, The Golfing Gazette team shares their predictions for the DP World India Championship.

Jordan Harris: With a scorecard suggesting that Delhi GC will help out the shorter hitters, Brian Harman gets the nod. He does not miss fairways by much. And his form was fairly good during the FedEx Cup play-offs.

James Shearman: Ben Griffin enjoyed a breakthrough 2025 season on the PGA Tour, winning two events and achieving two top-10 finishes at major championships. He is now well-rested after the Ryder Cup and could be about to add a DP World Tour title to his resume.

Jakob Barnes: If Rory McIlroy kicks into gear this week, he will be incredibly hard to beat. But, this is his first time playing in India, and that’s a challenge for any golfer. I fancy Tommy Fleetwood to put in a good showing, too. He’ll be eager to impress and make the event a success given his role as DP World’s global ambassador, and there’s no better way to do that than by making a charge for the title.

Peter Lynch: It has to be Rory McIlroy after his star showing at the Ryder Cup. He’ll still be on a high from Bethpage, and it’s clear he’s really enjoying his golf right now given his more relaxed schedule.
