One player has received some real criticism following the final round at the PGA Championship.
Dan Rapaport was the latest in a long line of journalists to call out one professional golfer for what was really bad behaviour at the PGA Championship on day four.
Scottie Scheffler emerged victorious at Quail Hollow, after winning by five shots and bagging his third major championship in the process.
Scheffler admitted that his PGA Championship preparation wasn’t actually that great, and that makes his win all the more impressive.
Whilst the Texan’s win was undoubtedly the main story at Quail Hollow, there were plenty of other incidents that attracted attention.

Unfortunately, not all of them were positive.
Dan Rapaport says Wyndham Clark crossed the line at the PGA Championship
Wyndham Clark displayed some really petulant behaviour at Quail Hollow on Sunday.
In fact, ‘petulant’ is a bit kind to the 31-year-old. The way that he aggressively threw his driver towards the advertising hoarding after a poor tee shot on the 16th hole was actually quite dangerous.
Clark has since issued an apology after his behaviour at the PGA Championship, and that was the correct thing to do.
Now Rapaport has delivered his verdict on the situation.

He said, “Wyndham Clark hit a terrible tee shot there (16th). He turned around and flung his driver against the station in the back and apparently the volunteer who was working there tweeted that it scared the c—p out of him. It was bad behaviour. If you’re going to chuck your club, throw it at the AT&T ad, don’t do it to the one that pays you, that’s on your hat. Wyndham kind of crossed the line.”
Rapaport is absolutely spot on there.
Clark’s behaviour on the 16th tee at Quail Hollow was totally unacceptable, and he needs to ensure that it never happens again.
PGA Tour players have a duty to set an example for young golf fans
Every now and again, tour players will get extremely hot under the collar, and they will lose their temper.
That’s fine, as long as they do not allow it to boil over.
What Clark did at the PGA Championship was quite simply unacceptable.
The last thing the game needs is young children seeing things like that and believing that it’s okay, because it certainly isn’t.
Clark needs to do better after his actions at the PGA Championship and if truth be told, many of his fellow tour players do as well.
