DeChambeau feels ‘ready’ for the Masters, which gets underway at Augusta National shortly after LIV Golf Miami.

Chris Como enjoyed ‘crazy rabbit hole’ while working with Bryson DeChambeau
DeChambeau is now back on home soil this week, at a time when renowned swing coach Chris Como has detailed working with the current US Open champion.
Speaking on The Smylie Show, Como said: “Spending time with Bryson, five years or so, was amazing. That was its own kind of crazy rabbit hole you could go down with a person.
“It was interesting with him because we worked for two years on how do you keep him in his personal sweet spot and I think he won two or three times.
“And then during Covid he was like I want to get more speed. We had talked before that, because I do a lot of stuff with a stats person, and to me it’s like where are the places that someone could find improvement and get edges in a realistic way and how does it fit the overall eco-system of their game.
“We started talking and he felt that hitting it further was a place where he could get a lot better because he was so straight off the tee. If someone is wayward you don’t have room for gains.
“With Bryson we kind of decided to do that and then during the whole lockdown, I built a lab in my house in Dallas and he started working out a bunch and we started to make some swing changes. That was such a rabbit hole and I learned so much from that experience.”
Where does Bryson DeChambeau rank for LIV Golf driving distance?
Como certainly has an impressive CV, having also worked with DeChambeau’s compatriots and fellow stars Tiger Woods and Xander Schauffele.
All three are, of course, very different players, with DeChambeau having undoubtedly focused on big hitting in recent times.
