LIV Golf returns this week in Singapore, with the likes of Bryson DeChambeau and Bubba Watson in the field.
DeChambeau has made ball switches in recent times, with the US Open champion currently 18th in the LIV Golf individual standings.
His fellow two-time major Watson meanwhile occupies 27th place, with LIV Golf Singapore another chance to climb the standings for the duo.
DeChambeau is the captain of Crushers GC on LIV Golf, with his fellow American Watson the RangeGoats GC captain.
The former is undoubtedly one of the main attractions on the Saudi-backed tour, with his social media presence playing a key role in that regard.

Bubba Watson praises Bryson DeChambeau for attracting younger fans
Watson remains focused on shining at Singapore’s Sentosa Golf Club, but he also took time in his pre-tournament press conference to praise DeChambeau for what he has been doing on the likes of his YouTube and Instagram.
“I think it’s great,” said Watson. “Anytime that you can… social media, YouTube, it’s all in the same bucket.

“But if you can put out videos and do things like that, you’re just going to draw younger crowds to the game around the world.
“With us playing around the world and bringing the excitement of golf around the world now, it only enhances the game and it gets people to want to be involved in it, to see crazy shots, hitting shots over the house and trying to hole it.”
Bubba Watson says Bryson DeChambeau has taken content to ‘a whole new level’
Watson is certainly trying to keep up with the likes of DeChambeau in that area, with his fellow veteran Phil Mickelson having also stepped up his social content in recent times.
It is certainly a wise approach given the way both golf and sports in general are going, and indeed amid the current state of social media and the huge role it plays in the modern world.

Impressing on the course should still be the priority, particularly with the money involved in LIV Golf, but it is becoming increasingly apparent that having a strong social media presence goes a long way.
And while Watson admits he carried out such activity long ago, it was nothing compared to the current scene involving the likes of DeChambeau.
“It’s different for me,” continued Watson. “I did those videos when I was a kid. I did those videos when I first started out on social media, and now that I have a family, now that I have a wife of 21 years, it’s a little different.
“I really can’t have cameras following me around everywhere. But yeah, the young guys, yeah, for sure. It’s great for them to do that.
“We still try to do some videos here and there on my account, but Bryson has taken it to a whole new level that I’ve never even dreamed of.
“Good on him, because we are here trying to grow the game and get young people involved, and he’s doing a great job of it.”
