Another LIV Golf individual season has now concluded, in which Cam Smith, Phil Mickelson and Jon Rahm all impressed.
It was indeed Rahm who clinched the LIV Golf Individual Championship title, successfully defending his crown from 2024.
Rahm received an $18million bonus for his success, which arrived despite a playoff defeat at LIV Golf Indianapolis.
He finished top of the pile despite not winning a single tournament all season, while his fellow captains Smith and Mickelson finished 18th and 24th respectively.
All three captains now turn their focus to the LIV Golf Team Championship, which takes place in Michigan this week.

Cam Smith says what he finds ‘crazy’ about fellow LIV Golf player Phil Mickelson
Ahead of the tournament, Smith’s thoughts on a handful of his fellow LIV members have emerged, including Mickelson.
The Australian said of the six-time major winner on The Colin Cowherd Podcast: “A crazy golfer to be honest.
“I have played with Phil a lot but particularly the last five or six years. I have played with him when he stripes the ball, hits everything perfectly and does all the right stuff.
“And I have played with him where he hits it offline, hits these miraculous shots and gets up and down and keeps the momentum going.
“He is definitely a momentum guy. Once he gets on a string of birdies it seems like he is not going to stop.
“But he is a completely different golfer to Jon Rahm in that he hits it everywhere and gets it done. It’s crazy.”
Cam Smith shares his honest opinion on Jon Rahm as a golfer
Just like Rahm, neither Smith nor Mickelson managed to win a single tournament in the 2025 LIV Golf season.
But all three have been able to secure their spots in the league after finishing in the Lock Zone, which comprises the top 24 players.
Rahm, however, had a much more memorable season, with Smith saying of the Spaniard: “He is incredible.
“It feels like when you are playing against him when you are up near the lead and in contention with him, it feels like you have to do everything perfectly to beat him. That is drive the ball, hit the ball, approach, everything. It feels like he does not let up or miss a shot.
“He is so consistent. Out here I think every start he has had a top 10, which is a crazy thing. People might not think that is hard, but it is hard.
“I would say he is just incredibly consistent and persistent as well. He does not let up. And he’s a fighter too. When he is on his heels, more often than not, he comes out on top.”

Rahm did indeed enjoy a remarkable season despite failing to get over the line before his eventual success, finishing in the top 10 in 12 of his 13 starts.
His Legion XIII side meanwhile head into the Team Championship sitting in first place, with Smith’s Ripper GC in sixth and Mickelson’s HyFlyers GC in 10th.
While Rahm won the 2024 Individual Championship, Smith led Ripper GC to the Team Championship in Dallas last time.
