Bryson DeChambeau was one of the first golfers to leave the PGA Tour in order to link up with LIV Golf back in 2022.
Ever since then, there has been an ongoing power struggle between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf.
The PGA Tour and the PIF were involved in talks with President Donald Trump at the White House in recent months, but those talks apparently didn’t go as well as expected, putting paid to an imminent merger.
So it seems like we’re very much at an impasse, as things stand.

However, is DeChambeau regretting his decision to join the Saudi-backed tour?
Bryson DeChambeau’s response when asked if he regrets LIV move
Bryson DeChambeau is widely recognised as one of the most exciting players to watch in the game, if not the most exciting.
Jack Nicklaus once described Bryson De Chambeau as a player with ‘unbelievable power’, and the fans love seeing him tear up some of the toughest golf courses on the planet.
It’s just a shame that we, as fans, don’t get to see him tee it up alongside the world’s best players every week.
There have been rumblings that DeChambeau is unhappy with certain aspects of how LIV operate, including ‘The Duels’ setup.
And it has been claimed that there could be a mass exodus from LIV imminently.
However, the American’s latest remarks have finally put paid to the rumours that he is unhappy on LIV:
“I think personally for me there has been nothing but positivity from this league,“ he said. “What we have been able to do across the globe is quite inspiring for the younger generation of golf. From a business perspective being a partner with the Crushers, my team. I am captain and have a stake holdership in the Crushers and wanting to grow this business and it’s fun. It’s something I get to do outside of the game. This game provides so much stress all the time it is fun to get outside of it and have a bit of a hobby with it to try and grow the business.
“We are pushing the boundaries to be sure. I think it has shown the PGA what potentials there are and hopefully something can get done at some point in time.“
Gary Player shares what he really thinks of Bryson DeChambeau
De Chambeau is a hugely popular player amongst golf fans, but the same hasn’t always been true when it comes to his peers.
However, Gary Player recently made the news when he spoke out in defence of the two-time US Open winner:
“I sit next to Nick Faldo and Vijay Singh. Rory McIlroy, he will get there, and Bryson DeChambeau because he is a fantastic person and always makes it a point to greet me with a handshake and hat off every time I see him. I hope to greet him the same way at the Champions Dinner one day.”
He gets a lot of unnecessary hate as far as I’m concerned.
Bryson DeChambeau is a well-rounded human being who is exceptionally talented at golf.
The majority of golf fans are praying that the PGA Tour and LIV Golf are able to reach a compromise whereby DeChambeau and the rest of the best golfers on his tour can play in the world’s biggest events more regularly.
