Bryson DeChambeau will be frustrated about his LIV Golf season after finishing eighth in the Individual Championship.

DeChambeau is disappointed not to have won a LIV Golf tournament this season, with his best finish coming in T3 in Nashville.

Golf fans are worried about DeChambeau as he continues to practice on the range in such an aggressive manner, with an injury potentially on the cards.

DeChambeau ended LIV Golf Chicago T6, although the Crushers GC captain did lead his side to first place in the team leaderboard.

Crushers have now earned a bye for the team quarter-finals in Dallas next week, along with Legion XIII and Ripper GC.

Bryson DeChambeau makes LIV Golf claim after his US Open win

Away from LIV, DeChambeau enjoyed a superb PGA Tour season, with the big-hitter winning the US Open at Pinehurst.

The two-time major champion was asked in his final LIV Golf Chicago press conference how that success has impacted the energy around his team, with DeChambeau replying: “Yeah, I think it definitely adds a lot of energy. The fans and people around have been fantastic, anywhere in the world, not only just here in the States but everywhere.

“Ever since I won the US Open, it’s kind of opened people’s eyes, I think, to what LIV Golf is, meaning like we’re here to stay, one, and two, we’re here to provide fans with an awesome experience. We really do enjoy providing that opportunity for them.

“I certainly feed off of it. I know that my team, I feel like, feeds off of it, and hopefully I can continue to provide some energy and we can all gather behind this great product because it’s here to stay, and there’s a lot more fun to come from it. It’s definitely gone in a really cool direction recently.”

Bryson DeChambeau leads Crushers GC to LIV Golf Chicago win

DeChambeau can certainly be proud of his captaincy in LIV Golf this season, with his Crushers side going strong ahead of Dallas next week.

It is certain to be an intriguing event at Maridoe Golf Club, with Crushers topping the seeds thanks to their third win of the season at LIV Golf Chicago.

DeChambeau has had to manage his time between LIV and the PGA Tour majors, which he did expertly for his US Open win.

The American also impressed massively by finishing second at the PGA Championship, and indeed his T6 finish at the Masters.

DeChambeau’s only real disappointment on the rival tour came at The Open Championship, where the American was among the big names to have missed the cut.
