Bryson DeChambeau is back in action at LIV Golf Chicago, and the two-time major winner was seen pushing his body to the limit during practice.
As the golfing world knows, DeChambeau is one of the biggest hitters in the game, capable of reaching ball speeds well over 200mph.
There are only a handful of players who can outdrive DeChambeau, and the 30-year-old was seen demonstrating his immense power at Bolingbrook Golf Club ahead of LIV Golf Chicago.
DeChambeau maxed out at 203mph ball speed and a carry of 337 yards. It’s impressive stuff, but golf fans, unfortunately, all have the same concern.
Golf fans react to Bryson DeChambeau’s practice at LIV Golf Chicago

Taking to X, several fans raised concerns over DeChambeau’s range session, suggesting the American will encounter injury if he continues to practice in such a manner.
“He will have a short career,” one fan wrote. “I don’t know how he hasn’t injured himself,” another added. “I swing extremely up right now due to a herniated disc in my lower back and neck & when I slip on wet tees or grass with no roots that don’t grip; it hurts really hard on the left knee, too & I don’t swing anywhere that quick. Crazy.”
“Back, knees, ankles, all done in about eight years,” said this fan, while another comment said: “Keep it up BAD, in 5 years you will be done. By the way, 336 carry seems short for 200 mph; what speeds too long drive guys swing that go 400 yards?”
The comments on DeChambeau’s potential injury risk didn’t stop there.
“Ouch, rip your back and vertebra,” another added. “@b_dechambeau is eventually going to wreck his lower back.”

Interestingly, amateur players are now becoming more and more interested in the numbers.
During the Creator Classic at East Lake, content creator Roger Steele matched DeChambeau’s average ball speed with his drive on the 10th hole.
As the game continues to grow, metrics will undoubtedly play a huge role, and DeChambeau will always be associated with the numbers due to his influence over the years.
