Brian Harman is getting set for the 2024 Presidents Cup, and the American is desperate to rekindle a partnership from last year’s Ryder Cup in Rome.

Harman made the 12-man United States team despite narrowly missing out on the season-ending Tour Championship at East Lake.

Out-of-form Max Homa has also joined the lefty. Jim Furyk’s inclusion of Homa has been criticised due to his poor recent displays. Harman, however, is desperate to partner the six-time PGA Tour event winner.

Having paired with Homa in Rome, Harman told the Fore Play Podcast that he hopes to be paired with the 33-year-old once more at Royal Montreal Golf Club.

“I hope so [to be paired with Homa],” Harman said. “That’s my dawg right there. He’s such a gangster; he’s so good. So, so good.”

Harman and Homa were the only Americans to win a foursome match at the 2023 Ryder Cup, beating Shane Lowry and Sepp Straka 4&2 during the second morning’s play.

Max Homa told to improve ahead of the Presidents Cup

Homa is set to compete at this week’s Procore Championship in a bid to regain form. And Golf Channel pundit Rex Hoggard has claimed he must improve his driving ahead of facing Royal Montreal’s tight fairways at the Presidents Cup.

Hoggard told the Golf Channel: “However, if you look at one thing you need to do well at Royal Montreal, that’s driving the ball well, and Max hasn’t done that all season long. He needs to show some sort of progress this weekend in Napa.”

Considering the names left out by Furyk, all eyes will be on Homa and how he performs after his poor end to the 2024 PGA Tour season.
