Xander Schauffele is among the field for the Arnold Palmer Invitational this week, with Bay Hill playing host to the latest PGA Tour event.

Schauffele feels good ahead of the Arnold Palmer Invitational, having missed much of 2025 through injury.

He has dropped from second to third in the world rankings, with Schauffele having only played at The Sentry in the latest PGA Tour season.

Schauffele is concerned about his form going into the tournament, which also includes world numbers one and two Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy respectively.

The two-time major winner finished T30 at The Sentry, but has been absent since then after suffering a rib injury.

Schauffele has also missed most of the inaugural TGL season, although he did manage to help New York Golf Club take the last playoff spot.

Footage of the American away from the simulator and back on the driving range has now emerged courtesy of Callaway Golf ahead of his appearance at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, which could prove very useful for amateur golfers.

With the use of a range basket sitting out in front of him, between his feet and his club, Schauffele’s simple drill ensures there is no swinging over the top.

Due to his frustrating injury, Schauffele hasn’t been able to continue on from his superb 2024 season this time around.

And the same can be said of his compatriot Scheffler, who has also been impacted by injury in the early stages of the new PGA Tour campaign.

Both players do, however, remain a real threat to the rest of the field at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, having won three of the four major championships between them last time out.

Scheffler won his first of seven PGA Tour titles in 2024 at Bay Hill, with Schauffele picking up his titles at the PGA Championship and The Open Championship.
