The third round of The Open Championship 2024 is upon us. The Golfing Gazette brings you the full schedule, how to watch it, and everything you need to know.

Royal Troon produced another brutal day’s play on Friday with several big names, including Bryson DeChambeau, Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods, all missing the cut. The 15-time major champion confirmed after his round that he won’t feature again until December.

At the right end of the leaderboard, Shane Lowry is the man to beat, sitting at seven under after carding a two-under 69 to book his place in the final group. The Irishman angered fans after an incident occurred on the brutish 11th hole.

Justin Rose also produced a scintillating round, carding a three under 68 to sit two shots back of Lowry.

The 152nd Open will be broadcast on NBC and the USA Network. It will also be available to livestream on Peacock.
